A Taste of Asia - Spicy Calamari Rings
« on: May 05, 2011, 02:22:33 pm »
My husband made this last night using his freshly caught squid.  The only complaint we both had was that it was VERY salty, and it seemed to get worse the more we ate.  Next time we would substantially reduce the salt or even leave it out altogether.

Thanks for the review rostess, it's easy to add the salt to the cooked calamari to suit your taste so leaving it out completely sounds the way to go.

I'd better send DH out to get some squid. Last time we tried, a tiger shark kept taking the lures.
