Made this for dinner.

Once you have made the spice it i easy.

The aroma of the spices and meat is very tantalising whist cooling

Taste, absolutely fab, the look not so good.

The aubergine went to mush in the tm, i was surprised as it was on soft speed reverse, maybe chop Very large chunks or cook separately and add to dish once cooked.

Wasn't really sure what to serve it with, but I served with warm crusty bread and very nice. It seemed  to be  like a gumbo to me.

It needs some presentation tweaking and then this dish would be outstanding.

Will try again, the book also says you can other meats, ie beef, chcken.

Hally

It says you can  reduce water and serve creole rice, which would be god too.

My DH usually says that what I have made is really bad and that he will have to suffer and eat the rest to save everyone else being sick. (Translated = He loves it and doesn't want to share with anyone else)

Will have to give this recipe a go as well, sounds great.
