Review Stewed apple with walnut crumble topping Page 58 CFM&Y

This is really nice and leaves you with enough crumble topping in the freezer to make the recipe twice more.

Pictures shows stewed apple crumble at the rear (cloudy apple cider jelly at the front) and then served with custard from the same book.

Judy I have enjoyed reading your reviews for the recipes from this book. They sound like good, everyday food. I would love some of the apple crumble and custard right now.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I've only done simple, basic desserts so far Cookie, there are some nice savoury dishes in there too.  It's nice to have the recipes converted for 1-2 people without having to do it myself though.
