We had burgers with the meat replaced by Haloumi cheese.

I often make a mushroom sauce but this one is a bit different. I think the Dijon mustard make all the difference. I adapted it to TMX.
1 tablespoons of oil
2 teaspoons of crushed garlic
1 onion
500 g button mushrooms
250 mls chicken stock
1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Cook chopped onion in oil, 10 mins/100/ sp 1.
Add garlic and 1/4 ed mushrooms, cook 5 mins/ 100/ speed 1
Add stock , cook 10 mins/   :-:sp 1/ 100.
Add mustard and thicken with cornflour . If required.
Serve with parsley.
Makes 6 serves as a side.
This is roughly based on the CSIRO recipe.

Sounds nice Chookie.  There’s plenty of good recipes in those CSIRO books, I have 3 that I browse through occasionally.

Fresh fish from DS with chips and salad.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

That sounds delicious Mab. There is nothing like fresh fish. We are having a main  meal salad of some sort as its warming up here.

Another 41+ here today. Dinner is pesto chicken strips with a salad from Not Quite Nigella and another tomato salad. I will report on them after we have tried them.

We had a vegetable & pasta dish from cookidoo.  It's not something I would bother making again.
