I love new blogs, thanks Chookie. Judy your recipe organisation looks wonderful, it is a big job completed. Judy you are indeed a star with the  ipad. I let the Apple people set mine up, or actually I did it under their guidance.
That looks tasty Chookie. I find I always look now when I save recipes to see if it has the calorie, etc breakdown.

Does anyone know of an app or a site (preferably Australian) that will analyse or break down the nutritional content of the recipes you make?

Morning all.
Marina, I know there are some but I have never used them as it seems too tedious.
Lots of recipes have the counts included and it is often one of the things I look for when I buy a recipe book.  I think Recipe Tin Eats is partially popular as she always includes the counts.  My fitness Pal is also very good for this.
Some have just the Carb and protein count.  Very annoying.
Lovely and cool here this morning.

My Fitness Pal is an app that will allow you to create recipes and will give you the nutritional value. Not a recipe app but one to use if you want to create your own for keeping track of your daily intake. Useful if you want to count your kilojoules or increase fitness. I use it sometimes just to see how good or bad are some meals! Surprising what you can create when you want to reduce the kilojules in a favourite recipe to make it healthier.

I am sure there are many apps  which will breakdown the nutrition  if you search for them. This is just one I knew of.

I sometimes put recipes I make a lot into My Fitness Pal. As Gert says it breaks it all down for you. I’ve used it quite religiously the last 18 months or so to keep an eye on my carb intake.

I use My Fitness Pal everyday. You can set your limits and it warns you that this food has a lot of fat, for example. It will not go down to 800 calories which is what the Blood Sugar Diet is all about. I just watch the Calories, carbs and fat for each meal, and then the total.

Hi friends.
A grey overcast day here today. Still very very muddy walking Chance. Even the paths that normally are firm have become waterlogged and muddy. :P The spring bulbs are loving the slightly warmer weather.

It got to 39* yesterday, then this morning we had a tiny bit of rain. Now it is horrid and humid.
