Good morning everyone.  Still warm here, hoping for a change later in the day.

That’s not good with the iPad Judy. Have you tried turning it off in the evening and then turning it on again the next morning? Or possibly you turn it off every night anyway.
It got to 33* here they day. Not t too bad. It was extremely windy here last night. From the east which is most unusual.a lot of very large trees were knocked out in suburbs around us. DH got up this morning to check for damage and noted that the mat to the back door had been overturned.  We can cope with that very easily😀😀😀

Yes I do that cookie but this is a big problem, I have things popping up that I've never seen before (a lot Apple related so I think they know I need a new one LOL) plus I can't do anything like opening or sending emails or play games.

However, I did go out and buy a new one today and with Richard away I decided to have a go at setting it up myself. At the moment it is downloading all my apps, I really surprised myself that I've got this far.  I may have a problem with the mail setting though, will investigate it further once all the apps have been downloaded.

If the repairman can fix it then I'll have 2 but that will be fine as one can always be on the charger and the other will be ready to go.

Good on you Judy. The people at Apple are usually happy to help too, if it’s convenient.
We are going to buy DH a new one quite soon. As soon as we can get over to the Apple store. It’s really being old and is full of data. If he wants to take a photo he has to delete something.

Well, it’s all done cookie and I even sorted the mail server problem.  It’s amazing what you can do if you put your mind to it.

The past couple of weeks I’ve been rejuvenating my TMX recipe box.  It was in dire need of a make-over, I’d shoved countless un-laminated recipes in there over the past 5 years since DH went into care.  Take a look at it now!

Before and after photos, oops make that after and before photos LOL

Good work on your Recipe Box Judy and well done sorting out your new iPad. I always asked DS to help me with my iPad problems.

Good morning everyone, the long awaited cool change arrived late yesterday afternoon and the house cooled down very quickly.  All we need now is some rain but there is nothing on the horizon unfortunately.  A friend is going to wash her car today, she said it always rains when she does that but I think not this time.

Thanks for the comments on my recipe box girls, I love a project that keeps me busy for a while and once I started it I could not let it go until it was finished.  Apart from it now looking neat I also got to revisit all the recipes I’ve cooked and printed out over the years, a reminder of the great recipes on our forum.

I had fun setting up this new iPad, it takes hours to download all the games, apps etc and I did find myself wondering why everything was going so well. Early into the process I had to change my Apple ID password as anything I put in wasn’t being accepted but that was the only minor glitch I faced.

I have just found a new Blog.  There is a free recipe book on Soups.  They look good and most are simple and very TMX friendly.   The Blog is called Stone Soup.  The author is Jules Clancy.
Have a look.
I discovered it while researching low carb recipes that use lots of Zuchinni. I have made a Zuchinni and Almond flour cake developed by her.
