It's been a very sad week for us as on Wednesday we had to say goodbye to our darling adopted greyhound, Missie. 

Unfortunately at 12 & 1/2 years old her arthritic legs couldn't carry her anymore and we had to make the awful decision to let her go.  Both my DH and I, along with our other little dog miss her terribly.

I had the pleasure of seeing Missie many times (I called her Big Dog) and she was the most gorgeous girl - the house now seems so empty without her and with Little Dog roaming around on her own.  Draw comfort from the fact that you did the best you could do for her at all times Katie & Richard and that she had such a happy life with you.  RIP Big Dog

Sorry to hear about Missie Katie, they leave such a big gap in our lives when they have to leave us.  I am sure Missie was glad to have found such a loving and caring home.  Bigs hugs  :-* :-*

Katie I am so sorry to hear about missie. Greyhounds are such graceful dogs and she was blessed to have had such a loving home.
