Happy Anniversary Chookie & Ral.

I also have trouble with finding my veins.  I drink lots of water before hand but it doesn't make much difference.

I finished the curtains for my friend today.  She also asked me to make a second lot as well.  She will pick them up tomorrow, I'll be glad to see them go.

I made the tomatoes into passata this morning. I had both machines going. Toward the end the TM 5 kept shutting down. I think it may have overheated as I had it on Varoma for ages. It worked ok when I made a rye SD to put in the fridge overnight.
I also had a Nanna nap.

We had a car run today. The first since November. It was rather warm and the wind was very strong but it was lovely to catch up with people again.
A couple of the cars at today’s run.
This is the car we took today- we let the old Ute have a day off.

Nice day for car run then cookie, some of the cars wouldn’t be very windproof would they?
This afternoon I went to the movies with a friend to see The Dry with Eric Bana, a very good crowd there but we al had to leave an empty seat between us.

Love the car Cookie . Judy did you enjoy The Dry ? My life is washing ! DD did some more mowing and later washed my car with the pressure cleaner . Packed a bay for the next few days DS has a few appointments in Melbourne. DD is staying home not feeling well , best she stays here although we were looking forward to shopping for uni things . If she keeps up working for DH it will be good . DH carting oats ! Still not harvesting , been so cold and sun showers all yesterday .

Happy Anniversary Chookie and Ral.

Lovely cars Cookie.

Still walking Chance twice a day. Recently finished a jigsaw of the Solar System and then started a flower picture jigsaw. This one is challenging🤪. Caught up with the laundry and cooked dinner.
Managed to bag a “Click and Collect” grocery slot for Thursday 😁.

LOL CC, I started a jigsaw with flowers on it back in November and I haven't managed to finish it yet!  I didn't realise it would be that HARD!!!

GD came home from Qld yesterday for a few days.  She rang last night to request a Apple Crumble Cake for afternoon tea today.  We are looking forward to seeing her as we haven't seen her since January last year.

That's a long time Mab. Denise do you read at all?
Judy I have read The Dry and I'm not sure if I want to see the movie, I'm often disappointed. I seem to create the images in my mind from the book and find it all so different in a movie. I'm best only reading it or see the movie.

We are sitting around, a bit cross. We were told we could pick DH's new car up today. We are still waiting. They were to ring with the details for insurance etc. He rang an hour ago and no one has got back to us. They reception lass did say that our car wasn't on the delivery list for today. Grrr. We have always found the people at this place very good, in fact we have bought over 6/7 cars from them. It may be the last.

Isn’t it great to see members of our family after such a long time apart Margaret, enjoy your GD’s company whilst she is here.  Your apple crumble cake must be something special for her to ask for it.

Disappointing for you both cookie, maybe tomorrow?    Apparently the book is nothing Ike the movie.

Thanks for the info re The Dry Judy.

After 3 phone calls byDH we are now supposed to pick up the car Friday. We are thinking that it may be the sale person. He doesn’t care now that he has made the deal. 😩😩
