Noodle Pudding

If anyone likes a good sweet noodle pudding (Kugel),

I've added some ThermoMix suggestions to my RECIPE .  If you want to make your own pasta (I did) use about 100 g all purpose flour, 100 g semolina, two eggs, a pinch of salt, and a squirt of EVOO and process in knead mode for about 2 minutes.

Danke - looks good - might have to wait for a cold night.  Good to see you using all the aspects of the TMX, kneading, butterfly, lower temps - you didn't need any cookbooks  ;)

Thanks...  I'm having fun with it.  Made a tapioca pudding today, but if fought back a bit, so I'm not ready to post the recipe yet.  I'm getting comfortable with the TM.

The noodle pudding looks interesting. What exactly is it?- I've never seen anything like it before.  Most importantly, does it taste nice?

It's a traditional Jewish side dish, served hot, often with cold sour cream on top.  It's rather sweet, one of my family's favorites.  I tend to save it for special occasions.  I don't think there is much more it is "like" so it's hard to explain.  Another name for it is lochshen kugel.  You can read about kugels http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kugel

Thanks, my education has improved.  You and your wife are wonderful doing all that baking/cooking.  It must give you a wonderful feeling being able to do that. Congratulations. ;D
