Always very popular when I do it at demos. I haven't heard of the lemon rind going in with the orange rind. We do 60g raw sugar, 30g cornflour, orange rind. Mill together for 25 secs at 10. Then I add 100g dark choc. and grate up. About 10 secs on 10. Then 2 eggs, 500ml full cream milk - 7 mins at 90 degrees on speed 4 or 5 according to the card but our Branch Manager suggests speed 3.

After having read this thread, I tried to order Demonstrator Delights from Thermomix in UK, but was shocked at the price: Thank you for your response. Just in case it would interest you to just get the book ‘Demonstrator Delights’ this would cost £23.90. Happy cooking! Congratulations on a great initiative. My advice, after running a very popular fairy floss stall at our school fete was prepegging out a queue for crowd control. One of my students brought it along after we suffered a lot of stress from being pressed by a chaotic crowd the first year and it worked a treat. Hope that helps.

Hi Karen. At a recent cooking class, we tarted up te beetroot salad with pomegranate molasses. I wonder how fresh pomegranate would go in there instead?

The AGFEST Thermomix stall was always busy. At some stages, there were twelve demonstrators, shoulder to shoulder, and still the crowd was several deep. There were two Thermomixes connected to power and three new ones without power, just to show people. It was a fantastic event with excellent signage, but you could tell when our Branch Manager had just done a Main Arena demonstration as the crowd really swelled. A camera crew came to film the crowds around our marquee. We were lucky as Agfest was just prior to Mothers'Day, so that increased the sales.

Yes, Judy. I was going to use the recipe from Cyndi's Healthy Eating cookbook, but it was in the car and it was raining so I just cooked it without instructions, putting some onion and orange peel in the bowl, added a bit of vigar to the water and cut the silverside to fit into the steaming basket. I cooked it at 100 deg for most of the time, then upped the temp to Varoma when added the vegetables in the Varoma basket.

Today on Kerrie-anne's TV show, a guest cook did healthy fish and chips, with the fish coated in buttermilk, then polenta with paprika. The fish was then baked in the oven, I think for 25 mins.

Today I cooked Bortch (EDC), Silverside, Mashed Potato (EDC), Steamed veges (in Varoma while silverside cooked), Almond Cake (MWOC) and Vanilla Custard (EDC). Delicious!

Hi - just wondering if anyone else was excited by the Thermomix plug on Millionaire Hotseat. It's official - Eddie McGuire loves his porridge made in the Thermomix!
