CC I think the biryani is boring on its own too. However the veggie version is brilliant with butter chicken. They really go well together. I presume it's the skinny mixers recipe you used?

The recipe I used was one my DD sent me.I will try the skinnymixers one with the butter chicken next time. :D

I made the Lamb Ragu I found on here, but this time I minced the lamb raw, whereas previously I've minced up leftover cooked roast lamb. Still yum, but I like using the leftover lamb much better, it adds more depth to the flavour.

We had the Beef Basil from Nifty but Thrifty tonight. Very nice.

Thanks Denise, I did enjoy it and as we have a week of extreme heat from tomorrow I doubt I'll be doing too much cooking during that time.

Far too hot for the Clipsal 500 racegoers and drivers this weekend cookie although I think the drivers wear special clothing to keep themselves cool.

we have had corn meat fritters last night, great way of using leftovers. :)

Tuna Mornay. It's my standard recipe modified so that the Thermomix does much of the busywork for me. It grates the mozzarella, chops up the onion, garlic and celery, and any other veggies I throw in, then while I'm cooking up the pasta and frying the veggies with the tuna, it's making the white sauce for me. I did a Thermomix recipe once, but my husband didn't like it, so this is my compromise. I didn't have cauliflower, otherwise I'd have made Skinnymixer's healthy carbonara as the sauce.
