Finally...after 2 long years!
« on: August 01, 2011, 11:27:38 pm »
Hi Everyone. I'm Donna and I've been coveting the TMX for 2 years since I went to a Demo at a friend's house. My husband was a non believer in the wonders of the TMX (of course he never went to a demo!) Finally after many "discussions" he said "I still don't get it but if it will make you happy buy it" So I did :) It arrived yesterday and I cooked up a storm. I caught him reading the Everyday Cook Book this morning :) I think we are all onto a winner here! Looking forward to exploring the forum.

What a patient and persistent lady you are, Donna.  Glad you won through in the end - the fun starts now.  Your whole family are going to be spoilt with great food from now on.

All good things come to those who wait Donna and I'm glad your DH finally saw the light and gave in to you.  Now you can spoil him with food and he will know he has done the right thing even if you do become a little obsessed with it  ;)  Welcome to the forum.

welcome donna. hhmn, I am wondering how long it will take before he will be raving on to his mates how fantastic the TM is? Why not pop over and enter in the poll so we can keep track of where our members are from.
We have lots of delicious recipes here that our members have kindly posted - and here is my current list of favourites - we also look forward to hearing from you if you have any queries, comments or converted recipes of your own to offer.

Welcome, welcome.  Boy are you gonna have fun.  Try to get to as many of the classes that TM run.  I have been to a couple and have got some really great tips - SUCH AS using frozen milk cubes instead of ice when making the sorbet so that you end up with an equivalent of a soft serve ice cream.  I could go on and on.........but welcome. :D
