I haven't cooked anything. My leg/hip/back played up badly yesterday so this afternoon I decided to have a little read. Of course I fell asleep and now DH is creating in the AF. First he made some bruschetta with the new basil in the garden and now he has created Parmesan crisps in the AF. They smell lovely. I'm being spoiled.
I will cook dinner in about an hour.

I've come down with a steaming cold so made a batch of Bug Beater Soup. No chance of any Vampires coming near me with that amount of garlic in it LOL I did chuck in a whole dried chilli so it's a bit spicy too LOL

Judy, my Pizzelle maker has a very basic recipe book. Although electric it has no thermostat.
Cookie, what a wonderful DH. Hope you are feeling better.
CC, garlic should do the trick. Rest up.
Not much cooking here today, just bread and jam.

Not a lot happening in my kitchen lately, it's been much too hot to cook.

Cornish and Cookie, I hope you start to feel better soon.  At least all the fuss of Christmas is over now and you can rest up.

Thanks Chookie, looks like they would work.  Maybe a new toy to play with a bit down the track.  ;D

I hope the soup and a good night's sleep helps make you feel better Denise (the link took me to the UK recipe site).

Once again I'm eating from the freezer, it's so hard when you take out one pack of mince then put 3 cooked meals back in it's place.  No wonder I can never reduce the contents!

I've been busy in the kitchen today. I had a hankering for nachos late last night, so I got up this morning and made some salsa (will use on nachos this evening)

I also made some homemade bread and chickpea burgers for lunch (from Quick Fix in the thermomix). Really tasty!

Am currently deciding which smoothie/iced drink to make for afternoon tea! I love sundays! :)

JulieO I really love your little emojis, they are so cute, thank you.
The leg/back/hip is feeling great, thank you. Rest is a good cure.
CC I hope you get over your cold quickly and don't feel too nasty.

I've made some small bread rolls. No particular reason, I just like to have them in the freezer. They are rising so very quickly as we don't have the air con on yet.

Sorry to hear you were out of action yesterday Cookie, but great that a day's rest has worked it's magic.
CC I hope your magic potion has helped your cold.
Not heaps of cooking here, too hot and trying to cut back on calorie intake since Christmas and days after. Eating lots of salads.
