Review. Power Balls. Keeping it Simple
« on: December 19, 2013, 12:49:12 am »
I actually made these from Tenina's blog before I got the book.
They are delicious and so easy to make. My DH doesn't like coconut so I didn't roll them in coconut.
The only thing I have to remember with these is that they are full of goodness and not to eat more than one at a time as the calories would be high. They are a great mid afternoon energy boost.

5/5

May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I have two favourite bliss ball type recipes....and this is definitely one of them! I think I make this recipe more often than anything else! I use cacao nibs in place of the crio bru...and love experimenting with the dried fruits. Sour cherries, cranberries dried blueberries...my favourite was a combination of dried blueberries (expensive yes, but they needed to be used before the expiry date!) and cranberries.

A great sweet treat! :)
