You are spoilt for choice, Cookie - there's enough reading there to keep you going for at least a day or two!

DH laughs when I’m looking at them and deciding what to read. He doesn’t understand that I have to ‘feel’ like reading the book I select. He isn’t a reader of fiction at all.

Cookie, love that photo. I’m still frustrated not being able to get easy access to my books.  However joiner coming on Thursday and Friday to install bookshelves and desk. This is the last big project. Can’t wait.

I am exactly like that, Cookie and my DH is also exactly the same as yours!

Bought 2 12 1/2 k of flour. Works out at $2.50 a kilo.
Ordered a 3 way kitchen tap. Hot, cold and filtered.
Yesterday, the joiner/ cabinet maker installed the library and book shelves. Wonderful. I’ll unpack more book today.

The tap sounds great Chookie and the bookshelves will soon be full I’m sure.

I'd like heaps more bookshelves. DH says books are slowly taking over our home. I try hard not to buy too many, but then all my birthday, Mothers' Day and Christmas gifts are book vouchers.  Just how I like it.

Cookie, I completely understand. It has given me a great deal of pleasure unpacking my cooking books. GS is coming tomorrow to fill the top shelves. These will be other books. I need the cooking ones where I can get them .

We head off today for Scotland and Spain, for a couple of weeks.  Not looking forward to the long flights as my foot is still giving me a great deal of pain but have arranged for wheelchair assist at the airports so at least that will be a great relief.  Looking forward to catching up with all the family in Scotland, and Spain will be a whole new country for us (mainly at a conference, but will have some trips around as well).

Have a safe and happy holiday Marina, good luck with the foot problem. I hope it doesn’t give you too much grief.

Marina, enjoy your trip. Don’t be backwards in asking for a wheelchair when in Spain and Scotland. Look out for a group of Aussie cyclists. GS it joining a cycling group in Spain.

Cycling in Spain for GS will be fun .
DS had a late hockey game tonight .. 6pm . They played hard but just beaten by a goal . Incredible warmer night and full moon was special.
Had a relaxing day on Friday , lunch with the girls and we then went to natural mineral spa for the arvo coffee and a late night home . Very hot ones 37-40 , didn’t venture into the ice cold ones . But next time will take a water bottle and drink heaps more ( headache all the next day ) then out collecting DH in the paddock till 9.30 at night , the joys . DS has two SACs tomorrow, has to had in a large practical year long Assignment for Rist the next day . DD is bunkered down doing assessments for uni .
