I went to the podiatrist this afternoon and called at the Italian deli on the way home. They have heaps of lovely fresh fruit and veggies. Also good stocks of other things they sell like legumes and flour. It's a little more expensive but at least you are able to buy it.

Jams and Chutneys / Tomato Jam

It’s a sweet jam Judy. Made like any fruit jam. Delicious. Although DH isn’t too sure, although he did say he remembers that my Dad loved it.
The recipe in a very old CWA book with a note Mum made.

I made some apricot jam and also some tomato jam. I looked in Mum’s CWA book and used that recipe.

No, this is jam made using tomatoes that you would put on your bread or toast. I will find a recipe in Mumís CWA book and just use the thermomix. I havenít had any for years and love it. Thanks.

My basil always goes to seed so quickly. Yesterday I bought a bunch and made pesto using toasted cashews. I like that I can leave the nuts a bit chunky.

There was a market near the bread place this morning so I popped in. I wasn't overly impressed but I did pick up a kilo of bruised apricot for $9.99.  Compared to everywhere else this was cheap. I plan to make jam tomorrow if DH doesn't eat them all.

That is not at all good Trudy. I remember reading it somewhere on facebook. I think the person received the same answer. I would contact your local consumer affairs group. Is it still under warranty?

It sure does Trudy, and washing up.
I went to buy some bread flours today and the lady persuaded me to try a North African mix. It has Nigella seeds in it and I think sesame seeds too. Both of which I love. I have a loaf rising at the moment, as well as a Classic loaf and a Rye SD.
I spent so long looking for the recipe of the Cherry little cakes yesterday that I didn't have time to make them.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I took some fruit cake out of the freezer instead.
