I use to make these before I got my TM, now I am wondering how I could make these using my TM, what I have to do is crush the biscuits (know how to do that) then I need to add Philly cream cheese and mix until all combined, could someone help me with this, do I use the butterfuly, do I have it on reverse and what speed would I use. Hope someone can help me as these are so yummy and I would love to be able to do them in the TM so they are easier and quicker to do.
Thanks in advance

Is that all you have to combine, the biscuits and the cream cheese?
If so I'd crush the biscuits in the TMX and then add the cream cheese and just watch it carefully as I combined it. Maybe speed 4 for 5-10 seconds. I would only use reverse if you had something else in there you don't want broken up.

Yep that is all that has to be combined, the biscuits and the cream cheese. Thanks for your help, these are so goooooood. Look forward to making these easier with my TM.

Kay, these are delicious. I tried them recently when I went to a function where one of the 4 ingredient authors spoke. Fantastic recipes, like this one. I think what Cookie's suggested would work perfectly. I'd be a bit scared to try the butterfly with cream cheese, although now that I think about it, it can mash potato so maybe it would be okay. But I don't think it's necessary for this.

Kay, so share the recipe please....what ratio of philly to biscuits?

Yes Please ;D

Agree with above - keep the butterfly out of this one.
Just throw bickies in a quick blitz, remove to a bowl before putting in the cheese and mashing about speed 5 or 6 then add the bickies and possibly :-: reverse and speed 4 or 5 to combine, but if it OK to really make them smooth then go forwards

I was also intrigued by this one, as i'm busily looking for easy things my daughters can make to give their teachers as gifts this Christmas. I found this recipe on the Kraft website:
Oreo Truffles (http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/recipes/easy-oreo-truffles-95085.aspx)

Thanks DD - they do look good. Yum

I don't remember exactly what they said, but I think it was a whole packet of biscuits. I'd start with half a block of philly cheese? Then I'd go by feel so that you can roll them nicely.

From DD's link above http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/recipes/easy-oreo-truffles-95085.aspx (http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/recipes/easy-oreo-truffles-95085.aspx)
1 pkg. (500g.) OREO Cookies, finely crushed, divided
1 pkg. (225g ??) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
2 pkg. (80g ??) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted

Lol I am doing that too. One is really easy, she is gluten intolerant and loves the GF bread (raves over it) but can't commit to a TMX at the moment, so she is getting a couple of loaves of bread - since she has already told me that she slices and freezes her bread I think she will appreciate getting a couple of loaves ;)

So sorry it has taken me so long to come back to this thread, here is the original recipe I got from the 4 Ingredients cook books
Cookie and cream truffles
500gram Oreo cookies
250gram cream cheese
10 white choc buttons
500gram milk chocolate
In a blender crush cookies, then add cream cheese blending until there are no traces of cream cheese
Remove mixture and roll into balls refrigerate for 45 mins
Melt milk chocolate and roll balls to coat
Refrigerate before drizzling with melted white choc to decorate
These are so yummy and now so much easier with my TM.
