Thank you ladies for your kind thoughts.
Supermarket shopping today. Then a visit to the wine shop. I bought a couple of bottles of very nice wine to drink tomorrow to celebrate our eldest GD wedding in Queensland tomorrow. All the family are there except for DH and me. GD is going to do a video link so that we can see her and the family at the wedding in the afternoon. Many tears have been shed because we can't be there 3

I came home yesterday after another four days in Dandenong hospital. I'd not eaten or had fluids for 5 days so went to the local hospital to have a nasal tube put in, was sent to Dandenong for a gastroscopy where they found I had some food lodged in the lower third of my oesophagas. I'm feeling fine now.

Thankfully I had backed up all my forum recipes on my computer before the computer died. I was lucky that the repair man was able to save most of what was on the computer.

A trip to Bunnings today to buy some tomato plants for DS to put in his veggie patch. We had to laugh as he asked if we could pick up some sweet pea seeds, it turns out he actually wanted climbing peas. At least his garden will look pretty when they grow.

Roast beef and vegetables for the men. In the supermarket today I saw some small soft meals for young children in the freezer so bought a pasta dish and will try pureeing that.

I had a visit to one of my specialists yesterday and he had the results of the Manomatry that test I had done at St. Vincent's hospital recently. It shows that I have something called Acalasia which it is a thickening of the eosophagas where it enters he stomach and severely restricts the food from going into the stomach. There is surgery that can be done that should make eating much more enjoyable. Our DIL who is the nurse in the family is away for a few weeks at the moment and I want to talk with her before I make any decisions. So in the meantime I"ll continue with the soft and pureed foods until I can talk to her.

Another Christmas pudding, this is No. 3. I've also been asked by another family member if I would make one for them. It's about time they they started making them as they all have the recipe.
Yesterday I made some of Chookie's Oat Crisps then some Simple Sugar Cookies from a vegan site. |
