Dinner last night was the sausages from here with gravy. I cooked the sausages on the grill and then did the rest as per the recipe. It was lovely. We even have some of the gravy left for tonights roast.

I'm trying the spicy tomato & lentil dahl from Rainbow Recipes and making it a Shepherd's Pie. I was so organised, put it on to cook before I raced out the door to drive DD to dance class, came back after the cooking time was nearly up and found in my rush I didn't set the temperature.  You ever done that?

Store bought Gnocchi (Though would like to try making my own) with a TMX tomato sauce (poss some bacon for the kids) and Parmasan.

Lunch was a poppy seed roll (store bought, Mohnknacker) with a chicken breast marinated in Tikka paste overnight and then grilled. I was going to add mint rittat but didn't have the lemon juice to make it :)

One thing, I def got this batch of Tikka paste right, it was perfectly edible (lovely indeed) without anything to cool it down. There is a little mouth kick but in a good way.

I'm sorry, Maddy, but I can't help myself, I've just got to ask - did the chicken come before the egg in your burger .... or the egg before the chicken?

I got caught out on the PC as well, Colleen - I immediately thought that PC stood for personal computer and was having a terrible time wondering what had happened that JulieO had to cook her computer!

Well dinner last night actually. Bit of a scorcher here in Sydney so it was Chookies salmon & leek quiche (sans mushrooms of course) with coleslaw and garden salad. Beautiful so no leftovers for lunches.
