What's for Dinner Tonight?

Must be pastie making day today!  I was lazy though so instead of lots of small ones made 4 large ones.  Each one will be fine for the two of us.  Had some pastry over so opened a jar of preserved apples and made two sml apple pies!

It all sounds very yummy.  We are having pizza. I must do the bases soon.

The pasties were delicious. I par cook the filling in the microwave and cool it before making the pasties. Served with homemade plum sauce.
Tonight roast chicken and celery mornay , roast potatoes, Steamed carrots and broccoli.

We had burgers. I used Chookie’s No Fuss recipe for the rolls.

Made celery in white sauce to go with roast chicken.
Tonight, remaining chicken new roast potato recipe.

We're having Chicken and Haloumi sausages with veggies.

Baked trout and veggie. Avo dip.

A curried chicken dish that is cooked with the rice and cashews.

Trying new recipe.  Crumbed lamb rump steaks. Instead of egg, using SD starter mixed with Dijon mustard. Panko crumbs.

Pasta with chorizo, olives, sundried tomatoes and roasted capsicum.

Crumbed chicken, potato mash, vegetable patties & mushroom sauce for the chicken.
Last night was roast turkey roll with all the trimmings.  Chow Mein the night before.

Those tray bakes are such an easy meal aren’t they? So many recipes out there now for them, it looks very nice cookie.

Last night we had tacos. I made wraps instead of taco shells. Tonight is Stromboli. DH’s request. Exotic dessert of stewed apple, custard and icecream.
