Like Karen, I post after making a recipe and then don't make it again for ages. Sometimes when I do make it again, using my posted recipe, it is different Weird that but I have come to expect it now and just add more time or whatever. Anyone, at anytime, is quite welcome to tweak mine too - it wouldn't upset me at all.

TMX had a bit of a workout today with bread, batch of cookies from a roll of frozen dough, Amanda's brownies for the freezer for emergencies, lamb in red wine sauce (used some sauce I had in the freezer, sauteed the diced lamb and just added the sauce), a tweaked version of creamy spinach from the UK EDC. I am slowly getting through my freezer stock.

I have just made a beautiful loaf of white bread from the UK Thermomix site. Baked it in my 14cm wide x 24cm long x 7cm deep loaf tin - not a huge loaf so next time I'll be making 2 - may as well whilst the oven is on. Served it warm to neighbours who were over helping me in the garden, with my banana jam and cream - they were very impressed. So was I Instructions are for bread loaf, finger rolls or burger buns. Check it out here - http://www.ukthermomix.com/recshow.php?rec_id=21This won't take you directly to the recipe but just click on the Thermomix site and it will come up immediately.

Hi mcm12183 welcome to our forum. It is a bit of trial and error to start with but you'll get the hang of it and once you start having some successes you'll be on your way to bigger and better things. Keep us posted on how you are going with your cooking.

This obviously only works if you have a keyboard with numbers in a block on the RH side. My laptop doesn't so no go for me unfortunately.

Maybe Ralo can clarify that. When I am writing out recipes from books in doctors' rooms (can't help myself) and need to do it in a hurry, I write t for teaspoon and T for tablespoon, EVOO etc - I know what I mean but probably no-one else would You are probably right in this instance though Thermomixer as 2 teaspoons of salt would seem enough for this recipe.

Hi & welcome to the forum lauraj. I'd also like to see an Asian section here too but it looks like it has to be left up to us to start posting some of these types of recipes ourselves. So this is a call to everyone out there - post your favourite recipes for all of us to share. If we get enough I'm sure MM will start a separate section for them.

Hi lorywhol, welcome to the forum. Check out the recipes on the forum, there are some beauties there - look especially for those with reviews to get some sort of idea what others thought of the recipe and the changes they may have made to suit their tastes. Have fun with your new friend.

These look lower in fat than the recipes in the recipe book that came with my waffle maker. Guess I can use ordinary skim milk and still get the same effect?
