So sad about the London attack.  My cousin is a lobbyist in Westminster but I have just heard that she was off sick when the attack occured ... for her, it was a case of "every cloud has a silver lining", tragically that was not the case with those killed or injured.

Good afternoon all, morning has gone so quickly.  Hot one today, wish it would go away.

Your family obviously shares everything Astarra. Not much fun this time though.

Hi friends.
Sorry to hear your Dad is unwell again Robyn.

Fingers crossed the gastro bug has run its course and your other DD's are clear Astarra.

Another cold day here.

Good morning everyone, a very warm weekend here.  2 guys up on my roof today with the painting happening on a cooler day on Tuesday.

Loving that the football season has begun, a great match to watch last night and looking forward to the women's final this afternoon.  How good are those girls!

Enjoy your weekend.

It is wonderful isn't it having the footy back? DH says it has been a long season already.

Your roof is going to look a million dollars Judy.
It is going to be 27 here today, but that is lovely.
I just had a scare. I thought a friend of ours was here and he was looking at DD's new car in the garage. He seemed to take ages so I yelled out "what do you think you are doing?" to make him aware that I knew it was him. I went to the security door and just as I was going to open it a large dark man said "your garage door is open, I will close it for you!" I yelled no you won't as he put his hand up to press the button and I yelled at him to go away. DH and DD came to the door and he was running down the street. He hadn't hurt the cars as they were all locked up. A little frightening though. I reported it to crime stoppers, just in case.

My footy team is playing in Melbourne today at 10 am our time! It seems too early to sit down and watch TV.

We had a tiny bit of rain this morning and it's quite blustery outside.
