I've just received an email about this. I really like Tenina's recipes and commitment to all things Thermomix, but $97 per year seems really steep for an 'insider's club' unless im misreading it. Any thoughts?

At the risk of being shot down in flames ....
I would be one of the first to say that Tenina is amazing in her development of and recipes for the TMX, I don't for a moment dispute that; in fact, I have even attended one of her classes and pop in and out of her blog often, she is truly dedicated and innovative and I appreciate all she has done.
However, you cannot forget that she is now running a commercial business and, with this in mind, that may partly explain the cost of joining her club. You can't expect her to devote all the time that she does without reimbursement.
Having said that, our personal dietary requirements are not commonly covered in her recipes so I could not justify this membership fee ...not that I would expect to be invited to join!

Well said Marina.

I have now received an invitation to join!

We all have different likes and dislikes and I'm sure you are all aware that I know Tenina reasonably well and enjoy her books. I have joined her Insiders Club. I initially thought it was going to be round $200, so was happy at $97. I love the free ebook of lunches, there is heaps I will make there. The $97 also entitles you to free download of all her ebooks. Which if you don't have some of them would work out well for you.
Owing to the busted foot I haven't made anything from there yet but will do so soon. DH is getting very good at following my verbal instructions for the thermomix.
Marina you are very correct. Tenina.com is now a business and needs to make money.
As we all said to INAID ( I think it was) some time ago. If you like it and can afford it, go for it.
This is all purely my opinion.

I have just finished reading my email and watched the introductory video. Great to read your thoughts on the subject.
-
I think that's great value for money. Presume it's open to us in the UK?? I'd love to join.
-
I'm pretty sure it's open to everyone past94x. If you can't find the link for joining I will send it to you. In fact if you go to Tenina.com
You should find it all there.

Thanks Cookie1. Found it. Cant wait to sign up.

I've found this Insider's Club great value but then previously I only had 3 - 4 of her books and was able to grab the rest as a member. It's early days but I'm impressed so far :)
-
It's certainly a brilliant deal if you don't have the ebooks Jude59. I'm enjoying the videos too and love the lunchbox ideas ebook.
-
Well I did ponder for a little, before joining this morning.
I didn't have all the Ebooks, so that is a bonus, along with the cooking class booklets.
I find the club easy to navigate around, love the menu builder for saving her recipes into categories, and receiving the exclusive recipes.
I have always been a fan of Tenina's inventive recipes. You know they are original & not just tweaked copies pulled from the net somewhere.
Happy with my purchase.

I know what you mean about the tweaked recipes Maddy. I too have been thinking about joining the insider club and with your review I am just that little bit closer...
-
I am happy to say that i like it a lot. The worst part is being away without my thermomix and unable to try some of the new recipes.
-
Gosh I havent been on here for ages, had to get Cookies help to log on.
I have been thinking about the insider club for a while, I have purchased it and so far am very happy with it. I had quite a few of the e-books but not all, so that was a bonus, plus the class recipes are good to have too.
Loving the videos Tenina is doing.
