Ok, so this is the curd recipe I have used before:
http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=4257.0
and this is the lemon butter recipe that I use:
http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=2578.0

both are amazing, but you can see that the curd uses a lot less butter and sugar, it comes out a brighter colour and is more tart, and I think thicker?

Ummm well this is a curd recipe - I think it is adapted from the 'Family circle homemade jams and preserves' cookbook on the curd page where I have found lemon, strawberry, mango and lime and also dried apricot curd recipes. As far as I knew we call it butter and others call it curd. I have just made this last week and used these amounts and ingredients I have mentioned but the EDC directions for lemon butter (p 147) Butterfly in for 8min, at 80oC sp 3 and it worked perfectly ;)

We had some passion fruit butter when we were in Melbourne. I am going to make some as we both loved it. I also like the sound of the strawberry and the mango. Worth a try I think.

I have a bag of passionfruit languishing in the freezer and am tempted to make this. Stupid question alert.....passionfruit pulp....do I remove the seeds?

The recipe doesn't say too. One lot we tasted still had the seeds and the other lot had the seeds removed. Possibly preference I guess

I hate passionfruit seeds, they might look nice but the crunch of them to me is like eating little beetles  :-))  Not that I've ever eaten beetles  ;D

I made this yesterday. It is lovely. I used a tin of Passionfruit as they are $2.98 each at the moment. It is lovely. I kept most of the seeds back And only put a few in.

So the canned variety works as well as fresh then Cookie, glad to see you left most of the seeds out though  ;)
