what do the stars signify?

This is probably a really dumb question, but what do the stars signify near our name etc please? It is probably written somewhere and I have missed reading it.

Don't think it does say anywhere (that I know of) but shows how verbose you are - three for me!!

There are different levels - start as a Newbie - one star; then Jr Member (after 50 posts) - 2 stars; then Full Member (not sure how many posts) 3 stars; then Sr Member (not sure how many for that either) - then I don't know - MM can tell us when he tunes in.

Thanks for that. As I was reading your reply I noticed that I now had 2 gold stars.  It's just like being at school. Although here I get rewarded for 'talking' a lot. At least here I don't    too much.
