Your curry looks good McMich.

Judy I haven't frozen any avocado yet, I keep forgetting, I must def put them on my shopping list.  :-[

I had a successful day in the kitchen.  I made a half a batch of the zucchini + feta fritters (which made 2) from the new Skinnymixers book only I cooked them in my waffle maker instead of the stove top.  Not a big serve but was enough with the salad and the dollop of Tzatziki I also made a half batch of.  I'll reheat the other one tomorrow in my airfryer.

I also made these baguettes from cookidoo and I'm so pleased with how they turned out.  I've tried quite a few recipes over the years but haven't really got what I was looking for.  These aren't the best looking but for a first try I'm happy.  I even left them to cool before slicing which was hard to do  ;D
The recipe made 3 so 2 have now been gently vacuum sealed and put in the freezer.

This morning I saw a consultant on FB where she'd used the fermentation mode for bread she was making but instead of putting the dough directly in the Varoma bowl she put it in a bowl that fit in the Varoma.  She increased the temp and time of the fermentation.  I followed this example and it worked great.

Judy, DH really enjoyed his Chow Mein tonight with slices of buttered baguette.  He's taken what's left of the roll to work tonight to have with his minestrone soup.  ;D

Great idea to use the waffle maker Julie, I should use mine more for different things.  I found some waffles in the freezer today when I was looking for something else so it was nice to find some extra breakfasts I’d forgotten about.   Love your baguettes and I’m pleased to hear DH enjoyed his chow mein.

Julie, love the look of the Baguettes.  What is different about them that you like?  I make a lot and use Cookies Vienna Bread recipe quite often.
Last night I made Pork and veal Spag Bol to go with the leftovers.

Thanks Judy, Chookie and McMich, I was really pleased with these.

Chookie, they are the first ones that had somewhat of a crispier shell and they didn't go soft as they cooled which has happened with others I have made.  I don't think I'll ever be able to get that real crispy exterior you buy in the stores, but for once I was happy with both the texture and flavour of these. I'll actually go back and make these ones again and hopefully improve their appearance.  ;D

Julie, I slightly under cook mine , and then when we want to eat them I spray with water and pop in a hot oven or AF.  Lovely crisp shell and soft inside.  The closest I have ever got to the traditional French ones with the thick  chewy crisp shell is the overnight SD Baguettes .
