Margaret, if you search for 'spinach' on the forum you will find heaps of recipes right under your nose.

Mab and Judy, love it when people share what they have grown. Think this is why I love the swap tables at Farmers Markets.

This afternoon I made chicken & veg soup using leftover stock from yesterday and using up bits and pieces from the freezer & fridge.  It ended up being a much bigger quantity that I intended as it was too thin, I added some potato powder then it was too thick so then I added more stock - in the end it measured 2 litres and all I was trying to do was use up 500 mls chicken stock!

I also made a rhubarb cake which was a total failure so that went into the bin.

Everyone seems to be giving me lemons or limes at the moment so I successfully made 4 jars lemon/lime curd to take to Probus on Friday for whomever would like a jar. Would have made more but ran out of butter.

Finally I made an omelette using half the spinach and potato dish I made yesterday, no problems with that either thank goodness.  Taking a break from cooking now!

You were busy Judy. Could you have added custard to the rhubarb cake?

Chooks love it when I have a failure. No wonder their eggs are so tasty.

I doubt it cookie, it was all gooey after 30 minutes extra cooking.  Very disappointing as it had good reviews.

For those with an over-abundance of silverbeet I recently made a delicious dish from silverbeet with chick peas and lemons.

Sounds interesting Marina.
I add a bit of butter and a grind of nutmeg.
Yesterday I steamed the Silverbeet and Kale in the Varoma, over the potatoes in the basket.
Today I am making Sweet Chilli Sauce and Chilli Jam.

Yesterday I made Apricot Chicken for dinner.  I had bought a tin of apricots instead of nectar so just zapped them in the tmx and problem solved.  I don't use soup mix and made my own spice mix.  I also made a Silverbeet Bake using a recipe off the internet.  It turned out nice and I will make it again.

Bimby Chocolate Cake.  GD passed her licence test yesterday, I am expecting her in this afternoon for show and tell :)

Congratulations to DD Margaret, free as a bird now.

I said yesterday I was over cooking for a while but whilst cleaning out the pantry recently I found a packet of tapioca flour so I made the Brazilian Cheese Puffs again from Travelling with Thermomix to go with soup I'm having for tea.  Tasty little morsels, I've eaten 4 already!

I made corned beef sandwiches for lunch, and will heat some home made soup for dinner!
