I have a couple of warm/hot jackets Marina. I don’t wear them often but I’ve worn them every time I’ve been out this week. We are getting rain on Sunday so it will be warmer.
I went to the chemist this morning and DD wanted me to get a couple of things for her at the local Westfield.

Yesterday I played with my SS food warmers that I bought from Alyce online.  I don’t believe the hype when reading about products but this time it seems correct. I made 2 bread recipes that I frequently make to test the proofing ability, and was amazed. When it is so cold here. Even with the heater running all day, it is still difficult to get a good rise in an acceptable time.  Tonight I will try an overnight SD recipe and 1 minute loaf. I bought both food warmers.

How big are they please Chookie. I’ve been having trouble rising the bread with our weather. Yesterday I popped it into the microwave which has a dough rising thing. It isn’t bad. I have used it a few times

The food warmers sound interesting Chookie . We have been doing trips to get DH car and Ute services ! Today I brought a pod bed for Tommy the kitten to sleep in outside cat ! It loves it . Got some pants for DS , thongs and track pants , he just grows . DD drove a little on the return drive . They all went and did jobs on the farm . Ewes are lambing , twins this arvo . It is freezing this arvo and the kitten is crazy , going up trees and now tucked up in its new warm bed .

DD visited yesterday with her step daughter.  They came to show me the wedding dress that SD had made for her recent wedding.  It was amazing, she designed and made it herself.  Made of soft chiffon and lace with a halter neck and long train with lace insert all edged with lace and diamenties.  A very clever girl.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Very clever Margaret, that’s the first bride to make her own wedding dress that I’ve ever heard of.

I went for my diabetes check this morning. All is well and no medication required yet. I almost forgot to wear a mask.

Good news cookie. Not good the way so many States/Territory have Covid numbers again. Just when you think we’re all doing well it seems to happen every time.

Another trip in the car for DD to catch up with a friend. DD drove for. Awhile there and about halfway home , finery more confidence driving on the open road . Once home DD went to MIL to mow her lawns and feed out in the Ace , a little feed trailer that DS made . Our little kitten is like a mad racing black blurr . Every time I’m outside going to the clothesline it dashes across the lawn and up a tree . It’s loving the new pod cat house too.

The SS food warmers from Alyce are 2 litres + and 4 litres +.  Tonight I’m making pancakes and will test keeping them warm. Family for Dinner.
Cookie, that is good news about your Diabetes test.  You are managing it well.

Thank you Chookie. This morning DH and I went and had a bone density scan at our GP's. They do it every year and we attend every second year. DH also got the results for some blood tests. He has to have a heart scan as parts of the cholesterol readings are up a bit and his brother had severe heart problems. Hopefully it is all ok, although the doctor did say this can be hereditary.

It always pays to have heart checks if others in the family have had a problem cookie. I knew someone who had a quadruple bypass years ago and told his brother to have his heart checked.  He didn’t and eventually had a heart attack, not fatal but he should have listened to his brother.
