I've just made the lemon cake from the TMX site, it's in the oven baking. I guess that it is from you Karen/Brazen.

Someone from work gave me some lemons a few days ago and just happened to 'stumble' across your recipe Karen on the TMX website... so guess what they've ordered for morning tea  ;) ;D

Also made the Speedy Spelt Bread tonight - so will try it for breakfast in the morning. Was quiet surprised that it didn't have any oil in it though...

Finally up out of my sick bed but DH opted to cook some nice pork chops and potatoes on the BBQ for lunch, bless him whilst I steamed the vegies in the TMX with it all coming together nicely.  Should let him do this more often as he cooked the meat to perfection, keeping it nice and moist and not overcooking it. Then I did the Too Easy Chocolate Cake pge 129 Everyday cookbook which is really nice, not big but oodles for just the 2 of us.  Must be feeling better to want a piece of cake.

Good to hear on both counts - hope the chocolate makes you feel better.

Trudy, will do (when I get a chance) its quite simple though. Just open out chicken breast so that its sort of triangle shape and all the same thinness, and place on it a slice of cheese, ham, bacon or serrano ham, some seasoning and maybe some prunes, dates or apricots, if you fancy. And then roll it up in a big piece of cling film, really really tight, so that it looks like it will burst out! When they are in the Varoma dish, pierce them with a sharp knife a bit. And cook them for 30 mins in an already steaming hot THX, turn once half way through cooking time. Will post the sauce as soon as I get a chance! Promise! ;) But it seems a very versatile recipe, allow them to cool a little and slice them thinly.

trudy o - you can get an idea from here too - http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=879.0.  Just substitute breasts and vary the time.

Today we had MrSpocks pork fillet in mustard sauce (posted in mains) and believe me, it is worth doing.  My review is in the original posting of the recipe.

Another thing that I have wondered - is it just me not looking properly or is there NO link to this forum on the Thermomix recipe blog site??? ??? ???

Somebody (no names) logged into this forum from the link on the Thermomix in Australia page in that time when we had the porn being posted.  They complained and the powers that be who have no idea Tenina was forced to remove the link.

Sad, but true.

Hopefully they will change their views.  Tenina has a link on her personal blog listed as Go Chat About Thermomix - so don't abuse her!!

I just whipped up a beef soup to get rid of all the bits and pieces in my vegie crisper, some cooked vegies and 1/2 packet of frozen mixed vegies which I didn't like along with my home made beef stock and some pearl barley and a handful of chopped rump steak.  So that's lunch out of the way but my problem is that whilst that was cooking, I thought of what I was going to do next and now, 40 minutes later, it has completely gone out of my head ??? ???  And you think you've got problems Thermomixer ;D ;D ;D ;D

1/2 hour later it has just come to me - a batch of Anzac biscuits ;D ;D
