Another fresh figs recipe. I owe to our friend Andrea who brought me so many figs from their garden and I didn't know what else to do. More to come! ;)
Fig Pudding (with photo):
Number of People: 6
Ingredients:
350g fresh figs, washed and peeled
80g flour
40g corn starch
120g sugar
1tsp vanilla
1 litre milk
Preparation:
* Puree figs by hitting Turbo 5-6 times (1-2 seconds each). Set aside 1 Measuring Cup full of figs puree to use later as topping. Leave the rest in TM Bowl.
* Add flour, starch and sugar. Set for 12 minutes 90°C On Speed 3. Start Thermomix and pour down milk slowly through the hole of TM lid and then add vanilla. Close with MC and speed up to Level 3-4
* Divide it into 6 bowls. When it cools down let it rest in the fridge for a couple of hours.
* Pour fig puree as topping and serve
Enjoy!
It is adapted from a Turkish magazine called Lezzet
Notes: This is a recipe originally for 6 people. Portions are quite abundant. If you use smaller bowls I believe you can make it for up to 8 people. This surely depends how much you would like to eat ;)

It's a bit like the Şekersiz Light Muhallebi with fig topping instead of grape molasses :-* :-* :-* :-* Thanks
-
Yes Thermomixer, similar. But the pudding of this one actually tastes something with addition of sugar and figs! :)

OK - speed reading a couple of thousand posts and I seem to have been caught out again. Didn't see that you leave some fig puree in the flour/milk mix :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-))
So, yes, more flavour in the base :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Thank you, Farfallina. I am making your puddings in my TM5 now. I used Automatic Function. Yummy.
