Yes, Judy, there was some real damage in the area of your kids' shop, glad they came through OK.

Yes they were lucky Marina, a bit too close for my liking though.

Did not feel earthquake but DD did at college and the window frames shook and the bed ! Friends said it was so bad everyone ran out into the street , they were all scared! Another friend said a 5 year old just went straight under the table , smart kid . Love nature in its natural form .. even miffed that I didn’t feel it , although we think later there was a very small one we did feel maybe . Amazing moon last night and the most beautiful evening .

We are officially out of heavy lockdown.

I'm pleased everything is ok with your 'kids' shop and home Judy.
The ducklings are lovely Chookie.

Thanks cookie.  What a gorgeous picture Chookie, to have that in your backyard would be wonderful.  Glad to hear you’ve been given some freedom, I’ve been busy today and hadn’t heard that yet.

Turned cold again.
Rals latest platelet test was the best ever.  He is now in the healthy range. Will probably continue to go up and down a bit.
Footy grand final tomorrow. Cookie, enjoy the buzz. This is crazy, but Victoria gets a public holiday today, the day prior to the event.

Everyday is turning into a blur , I even forgot it was a public holiday, makes no difference really . Still cannot get my head around it being the day before, I know it’s meant to be the parade today !

A cold day here too Chookie.  So pleased to hear that Ral's results are good.

K Atie, I didn't realise today was a holiday either until one of our customers mentioned it yesterday.  It hasn't made any difference to us, we're still here just as we have been every day for the past 6 - 7 weeks and will be here for another 5 or so weeks yet.

It is all grand final hype here at the moment. We laughed that Victoria gets the holiday.  I’m hoping Melbourne win as they haven’t for so long. We did think of going but tickets weren’t cheap and they sold out to the public in 9 minutes. We’re going to the Royal Show instead. Possibly not very wise with the danger of Covid but why not live dangerously.

WA has done so well stepping up to our football season’s finest events cookie, I’ll be watching a lot of TV tomorrow. With everyone still in lockdown in Melbourne the holiday is really a waste. I think most of Australia would like to see Melbourne win the GF, let’s hope it’s a good game.  Enjoy your day at the show.

I will be supporting the Doggies.  The were very nearly closed down many years ago as they weren’t financial.  The women members rallied and made scones, cakes and jam.  Held stalls in the streets of Footscray, ( a very working class area of Melbourne). Made enough money and attracted several big donations. Also Ballarat is somehow linked with them.  I must admit that I know very little about footy although Ral played several games when he first came to Melbourne.

Very cold today.  Max 9. Was 3 an hour ago.

Bit warmer today. 14 max after a very cold frost.
I’ve posted photo and method for Pumpkin Ravioli made with Wonton wrappers on my Blog.  After the disaster I made posting the last recipe on the Forum I might not transfer it. ( don’t want to create more work for Judy sorting out my mess)
