I'm not a dog lover but I do like Cavaliers.

We had 4 cavaliers cookie and they were delightful and an absolute joy. They were so good with all the little ones.
DD has the remaining 2 as she asked for 2 of them when she married as they were her dogs too. Its so sad to see them old and athritic  but they are still so affectionate with everyone

Amy I have always know cavaliers to have a good temperament and to be a fun loving affectionate breed.

I took my cavalier to the vet so often I paid for his daughters' private school, but he used to say that cavaliers were the only dog he would put his face near and not worry.
Amy your puppy is just gorgeous.

I don't think I've ever posted a photo of Jake, so here's some photo's I took last week-end. I went to a dog resort that has a lagoon for dogs to swim in, and agility equipment and all that fun stuff for dogs. Needless to say, he had a blast!

Was that like a play date for dogs jackodai?  Never heard of them before but I bet the dogs love that place.  Jake is a lovely boy and a lucky one at that.

Jake is gorgeous, my DD has a red kelpie, Didg 'Didgeridoo'. she just loves the water will,swim for an hour then run after a ball for an hour, exhausting she would love Dog resort.

It's a great place, it was a playdate! It was lot's of fun. Now that Jake lives in the city with me, I don't get to do as much with as I used to. He used to have quite the social life with obedience training, agility and he was also a therapy dog at a nursing home. He loves it in the city though - there's not many Border Collies around here, so people always stops for a pat.

He wasn't too fond of the water, he had a bit of a nudge, but once he was in he had fun. Jake's the same with a ball, Brenda - he will chase it until he collapses!
