I'd had a busy day so we had good ole Bolognaise Sauce with Pasta and Green Parmesan! The green parmesan came about by a spur of the moment, I just put my cubed parmesan into the tmx and looked at the parsley and grabbed a sprig and threw it in too. It crumbled up just like the parmesan and turned it a lovely shade of green, and i thought it tasted beaut!! Jenny ;D

Going out again tonight. I'm too old for this 3 nights in a row out. DD is having leftovers. I made a delicious smoked salmon thing last night. I will write it out and post it. I must remember to take a photo before she eats the leftovers.

Actually cooked it in the wok Judy  ;)
I tend to like my stir fry's better that way.

After school I made Mexican chicken in the slow cooker, then after footy training threw it onto large pitas and cooked in the pizza oven.

We had Baf's chicken except with salmon. Did the cheese sauce with parsley and wine.
Even DS1 ate his salmon. DH said he prefers salmon Asian EDC style but it was nice for a change. Love that I started cooking at 5.05pm and we were tidying up at 5.50pm...

It is so interesting reading about different cultures.  Our family in Europe eat quite late too.  My Uncle gets home from work at about 7.30pm and then starts cooking tea for the family.  Quite often they don't eat until after 8.30pm.  We have an early tea at about 6pm.  That gives us time for baths and a little quiet play before an early bedtime.  :)

P.S - My friends eat dinner at 4.45pm every night.  I would be starving by bedtime!!!

I was attending a traditional Chinese medical practitioner a couple of years ago and he said that you shouldn't eat within four hours of going to bed.  Ever since then I have tried to eat at around 6 - 7.00 pm but, I've got to admit, I haven't noticed any difference if I eat later than that so whether I'm doing the right thing or not ... goodness only knows!
