Heading back home today after a very warm weekend away in Sydney.
Thoroughly enjoyed being in the city.
Have a good day all  :D

Cookie, very good news about the caravan. I understand about being within easy reach of your MIL.
Since Rals illness in Turkey , I refuse to go more than 4 hours flight from Melbourne. This means restricting what we do and where we go.  Not so bad when you are happy where you are.
Eye check up for new glasses today.

Good news about the caravan Cookie.

I had my eyes checked today.  There is a very slight deterioration but not enough to need new glasses. :D :D

I can quite understand that Chookie. Ral's illness overseas must have been quite terrifying.

Margaret that is good news.

Mab, I had my eyes checked today also. Also slight difference but getting new glasses as the frames  need to be replaced. Expensive exercise.

I need to bite the bullet and get a pr of bi focal glasses for work. I only need them for reading but putting them on top of my head and back to read multiple times a day is annoying.  ???

I'm the same when I'm shopping or reading a recipe Mich!

I managed to get a bargain with my 2 pairs of new glasses late last year Chookie - bi-focals plus prescription sun-glasses. Same frame as what I was wearing was on special for $1 so I chose different colours for each pair.  I couldn’t believe my luck.

Wow Judy.  That was good.  My glasses have 3 levels of focus and are covered with a film that reacts to the sunlight. All this makes them expensive.

I usually get 2 pair of glasses for free each year, as we are high extras cover.

I have them all over the house. ;D

This is the last day before I go back to work. I don't know what I'm going to do with it.
I would like to go to Bunnings so I guess that will be my day, with an early night to set me up for the week.

Wow Judy, that was a good bargain.

One arm on my glasses needs to be repaired again this will be the fourth time so now I just hold the pieces together with a clear bandaid, it works well, can hardly be seen and is much cheaper  :o

Is there a limit to how many times they’ll fix your arms Margaret or are arms not included in the free service?
