Sleeping lions - it isn't hot enough to pop popcorn. I started training to be a consultant last week and the trainer specifically said it's still not hot enough. Apparently a lot of people ask that!

I find that the secret to creaming butter and sugar is to use a speed of about 3.

Ordered my TM5 last night... so excited.  Now just have to work out where I will fit it.  Definitely first world problems :)

Congratulations Charlieboy. There are a few of us waiting now so there should be lots of information coming onto the boards in the next month or so.

I would go out and buy one tomorrow if it came with the ability of uploading your own recipes.

Don't you still have the option to use it manually & follow a recipe just can't save a recipe to the recipe chip?  A part of me thinks I should have gotten a second hand TM31 as the wait seams to be taking forever

Yes, you can use the TM5 it manually and follow recipes from books. It's just that for me at this point in time the difference is not worth me upgrading my TM31 for the guided cooking from one cookbook...However my opinion may be swayed! Don't worry too much about the wait (I remember waiting for my TM31 was painful too!) think of it as a great opportunity to read and research so that when it comes you are prepared!
