Title: Where can I get Cookbooks?
Post by: Woerd on December 27, 2009, 10:39:44 am
My TM came with two Cookbooks.  The regular one (I think) and one called Cooking my Way or something like that.  I keep seeing references to the estive books.  I went to the site where I purchased and there are a couole more books but not those or the rawlicious.  I am in Canada.

Hi Woerd, most of the books are Australian books. The Rawlicious one is Aussie. Some of us are hankering after the UK ones as well. :)

Talk to your consultant and check out this thread http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=2500.0 (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=2500.0)

The UK Thermomix site doesn't show books for sale but there are 2 - and if you contact them http://ukthermomix.com/contactform.php (http://ukthermomix.com/contactform.php) then they will gladly help you.

There is another new one due out - International and there will be a Meat cookbook here in Australia soon.

If anyone needs any TM cookbooks, I have lots in stock at the moment so give me a PM if I can send one your way.  Happy to see them go to good homes.   :D

Cecila, you have resurrected a 3 year old thread, with no more postings,  just to sell a cookbook.

 :(

Well, the way I saw it when I read Cecilia's post was that she was just trying to be helpful - she may have books that people are after that HO doesn't have in stock right now . . . .

Guilty as charged, Obbie - a cookbook/some cookbooks. We are all part of the Thermomix family and I'm just reaching out to offer a service in case anyone needs it.  :)

Yes, goldfish - that's what I hoped I was saying.  But Obbie is right in that behind the opportuity to help is the need to bring home the bacon one way or another.  ;)

I'm interested to know if there are some out there that I can't get.  After 3 years I have quite the collection now but I am sure there are a lot more available there than I can access here  ;D

Woerd - would it be possible to give us an idea of names of the books that you are after?

Nope LOL  I don't know what you have  :D but 3 years ago I had basically none.  Now I have tons.  Cindy O'Meara, Indian, EDC, MWOC, In the Mix, Nico's, For food's sake, Rawlicious, Festive flavour, Full steam ahead.  I THINK that's it and not including all the recipes saved on my computer from here but it's still NEVER ENOUGH!!!  LOL

Tenina has a couple of eBooks and Alyce has Quick Fix in the Thermomix and a mini cookbook on low carb cooking.  Check out the list of all recipe books available in Recipe Book recipe Reviews on the home page  http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?board=48.0

I got Nico's 2nd book today that has just been released "Delicious Journeys". He has presented the conventional method alongside the TM method on the same page. This is an improvement on his first book which had all the TM conversions at the back. I love his recipes as they are simple to prepare and tasty.

It's lucky I am over 300 km from a book shop. I have his first book and love the recipes that I have made from it. He actually did a class a few years ago for tmx owners.
