If we have a fair amount of leftovers I freeze them. Then I usually use them within the next couple of weeks. DH has a bad habit of wrapping something in a plastic bag and it disappears for ever. 😀😀
Usually D H has the leftovers for lunch the next day.
Tonight we had curry, rice and naan. There is heaps left over so we will have it tomorrow night.

Tonight while we watch the footy we will have footy food.  Sausage rolls, mini meat pies, puff pops with sardine and onion.  Fresh fruit and cheese platter.

We had leftovers tonight.
We also watched the footy. It’s the first time I have ever watched a game without my team playing. It’s probably because it was here. I quite enjoyed it. All the excitement. I’m pleased Melbourne won too.

First quarter I was barracking for Melbourne, second quarter the Bulldogs until they caught up then back to the team I wanted to win, Melbourne. I enjoyed watching GF day, it’s not something I’d miss doing. Footy season over for another year but I’ve ready received notification that I can pay next years subs - they can wait a bit longer though, far too early at this stage.

Also watched the footy. I have never before watched a complete match. Enjoyed it very much even though my team didn’t win.
Tonight for dinner we had better have something very healthy after the sausage rolls etc.
grilled salmon and salad.

We are not footy fans here so only flicked channels to see who was ahead.  I am pleased that Melbourne won as it has been a long time between wins for them.

Jacket potatoes last night with salad.  It maybe takeaway tonight.

Last night we had Vegetable & rice pasties with potato casserole, beans & corn on the cob.   Tonight will be braised steak & onions from the freezer with left over potato dish, broccoli, carrot & parsnip mash.

Barramundi with rice and greens . Aldi frozen Barramundi is really nice each piece is in individual Corio vac packs this makes thawing a breeze . Seems DS is making donuts , but no donut moulds !! Yes it is 9.30 at night !! I’ve gone to bed but now I can smell the cooking . Friends always told me how their teens would cook late at night!

Chicken Marylands with marinade of Dijon mustard and honey, baked.
Made loaf with Laucke Sprouted grain flour. Beautiful flavour but sticky to cut.
Made Beef in Stout from chip. Thanks CC for the chip. I used beer from a local brewery instead of the stout.
