Oh gosh do I have to do that? We have only had one, the next one is in about 3 weeks. Thank goodness for DD.
I'm very good at looking hopeless-especially if it involves computers or similar. I just say 'oh, i don't know anything about them!' I had a lovely chat to a lady, similar in age at Coles this morning. She was using her Apple watch for her loyalty card and to pay. I was very impressed.

Cookie, I’m not sure if you will have to do it or if it is a State requirement. Our hairdresser won’t mind doing it for us as she isn’t very busy. Also once she shows us we will be able to do it. I hope the Restaurant will have someone on the door to help.
Judy, we weren’t given any paperwork by our GP .

Best thing is contact GP ask for proof of vaccination and you can get from them your Medicare immunisation and the vaccine digital certificate paper ! Everyone is talking about how hard it can be to do the digital way , a lot are cleaver too .

I had heaps of trouble downloading our vac. certs. onto our phones as well but then one of our customers said you actually had to do it through the other Medicare app, Medicare Extra Plus. It was still challenging, but I eventually got it done in the end. You would think this would be the easiest thing to download at the moment, but no ... they made it as hard as they possibly could.

Yes they make it very difficult Marina, there’s something not right when tech savvy people still have trouble with the download.

I’m not looking forward to having to do this at all. I’m sure we will need it when we open up.

Yesterday we had the very best weather for our visitors. It was warm, sunny and no wind. I used my new ovens to full advantage and DS and BIL were amazed. I used the reheat function, the grill and the warming drawer.
Slightly warmer today.

Have had an invitation from Miele to an amazing cooking class. Not going as we would have to stay in Melbourne. Can’t risk it. Rang Miele and spoke to them. They said they would design a class later , in the new year that demonstrated my particular models.

That would be great way to get to know the full capabilities of your appliances Chookie.

It would be good to go on the course, Chookie, your oven(s) sound amazing and you absolutely need to get the best out of them that you can - although, from the sounds of it, you seem to be doing pretty well regardless!

We had a big storm go through last night and again this morning. No damage here.
Had a talk to our GP yesterday about COVID . He said we can’t remain locked down forever. He also said the if we do catch the virus it won’t be bad as we are double vaccinated. So we have decided to still be careful, mix with likeminded friends. Entertain outside when possible, shop at time when there are few people.
Had a talk to the manager of out local IGA yesterday. He said that there were problems with warehouses in Melbourne. He said that within the next 10 days they would start, ( normally) to get their Xmas stuff. If you see what you need, buy it.

We had a wild night here too Chookie and it is still going strong. Lots of heavy rain & strong winds. No damage to us but half the neighbour's privacy fence has blown down and some of the roof on their back porch has gone. Fortunately none of it fell on our side.
