3 neighbours & 3 thermomixers
« on: April 16, 2011, 11:52:30 pm »
:) I love my thermomix  and i bought Mum a TM21 last year for her.

Now yesterday another neighbour rang me and invited me to her delivery demo Tuesday,  so 3 machines really close, as she knows how much i use mine.

Now what a cook up that could be, all together.

The only demo I had been too is mine, as I ordered mine without any demo first.  I hope her  consultant is ok.

how long is a normal delivery demo.
sorbet, beetroot salad, bread rolls, garlic herb dip, main pasta meal, custard.  I left 1/2 way when the main was being cooked.

i'm  a bit dissapointed. Robyn

A couple of lots of friends and us have cook ups. We used to take our machines and do it together but now we just make the food before hand in the TMX and take it along with the recipe. It is really great fun. I have just heard that someone else will have their machine with them in Monkey Mia when we go. Fun.

My delivery demo went close to three hours, but didn't seem that long.

We did strawberry sorbet, hummus, bread rolls, pumpkin risotto, beefwood salad, and custard. I don't think I've forgotten anything. My consultant is great. *waves* Hi Janita :)

Two of my friends close by also have Thermies. Two of us bought from the delivery demo of the first. We often chat about what we've been making. It's great fun knowing others with a Thermie!

Delivery / basic demos are around the 3 hour mark - there is a lot to get through and that is keeping it really to a bare minimum ... there is so much information that you could give as a consultant but you would have demos that went for 4 hours or more if that was the case  ;)

My demo was for me to see if I wanted one and it was great. I was supposed to have 10 people max but ended up having 13!!!! My only complaint was that all the guys wouldnt sit down but kept standing around the thermomix so i was not able to really "see".   :-))
My doubting husband agreed to my purchase that night and it looks as if everyone else there at the demo is having their own demo and will be purchasing one also.
I should have been more selfish and just had me ;D
