Next time tell her you will email her the recipe CC, she'll be right as the fresh punnet of strawberries will give the jam a little colour if she decides to make that.

just pulled some date & walnut muffins out of the oven. They are abit of a flop, in my sleep deprived state I pulverised the walnuts when it should have been the dates. Every step I sort of stuffed up so its no wonder they have come out abit flat. Oh well, I'm sure they will be off loaded easily onto the neighbors sons  ;)

I had the strawberries in for 10 days CC. They taste great in the ice cream :)

Nothing today. Back to the grindstone and then away for the weekend. So not much will be cooked!

I'm going to leave mine longer as I did tip in an extra bit of vodka to empty the bottle.  Then I'll fold the white strawberries through some ice-cream too  ;D

Great looking cupcakes Jam.

I agree with you Judy, I was disappointed in the new magazine. Reminded me of the old aust table magazine with fancy chefs and not much else. Bring back good taste I say.

Lol Albino strawberries 😄

It's 11.20 pm and I'm making a batch of DD's Red Lentil & Chickpea soup.  Had all the ingredients and I want to take some frozen over to DD when I visit her.  The reason I started so late was that I had to make a phone call to Telstra as the 3G on my iPad wasn't working so I got the soup going then made the call, thinking the soup would probably be cooked by the time I had my problem sorted.  Wrong!  Telstra fixed it in under 5 minutes and now I have to wait for the soup to cook  :D

Judy I have never heard of anyone making one call to Telstra and getting something fixed in 5 minutes. Are you sure it was Telstra you phoned?   ;D ;D ;D
