Were the small group tours booked through the louvre or a tour agency? That sounds like a good option for my bf who hates lines!

I used viator with no regrets for the louvre, about 10 in our group.  Was very nice skipping the big queue and not missing special pieces. But also gave us detailed information about the art and  the symbolism.

Loved Paris MO2! We had a lovely apartment in St Germain, a fairly classy area close to everything. Eiffel Tower was incredible as was the Louvre, Musee Dorsay, Fountainbleux, Veux Le Vicompte and many other wonders.
Also enjoyed the south, especially our Avignon Wine Tour and Monet's Garden.

Thanks so much, I'm looking forward to eating and drinking my face off! My boyfriend just asked me how I'm going to survive 2 weeks with no TM. Good point!
