I made this last night and just added some chicken tenderloins. My hubby and I both loved this and will be adding to our favorites. My hubby is very fussy with the risottos and I have struggled to find one he likes, so I'm very happy.

We had tried the Butter chicken from the EDC previously and it was pretty bland. This recipe was really easy to follow and SENSATIONAL! It will definitely made again... and again... and AGAIN!

Thanyou for the recipe!

Bread / Re: Plain White rolls - no fuss
« on: November 29, 2010, 09:48:25 pm »
Hi There,

I have now made these twice. The first time they seemed a bit dense ( could be the operator as it was my first time) second time i added the bread improver and OMG they are amazing! I feel like a very smug "housewife" as my hubby goes to work with bread rolls made by yours truly! he he he

PS totally agree that bread is like the thermomix, totally addicted as going to go and try and another batch today!

Tips and Tricks / Re: Beating Egg Whites

My husband and I love lemon meringues and I make them all the time, before my thermomix I used the kitchen aid which made perfect meringue every time.

I tried the meringue as per the cook book and I was worried that I would need to keep my Kitchen Aid ( which I was planning to sell) as the meringue was just not as nice as the one I made via the Kitchen Aid... well after trying this recipe I am pleased to say the Kitchen Aid is back on the market!!

Thankyou!!! I think the lower temp of 37 rather than 50 as the book really made a difference for me anyhow. :)

Hi All,

I was considering the finance option and had completed the paperwork when the next day my consultant called me as some things were not complete. It was than I noticed the $75.00 application fee and $4.95 per month admin. I called my hubby and we decided to buy it outright as really the fees dont really make it worthwhile, better off putting it on my credit card and getting the frequent flyer points!

So understand your feelings and feel for you that you were not given the choice..

Introduce Yourself / Re: Keep Dreaming of using my new Thermomix.

Well its 530 and still no rain.... hopefully we shall get some soon as its very muggy!

I have cooked up another storm today using the Thermomix and I think my hubby is loving it... and now agrees its worth every penny.. he he he

I think some things I need to tweak the taste but I think  that will come with time as I get to know what does what... so today:

1)bread rolls and hollaindaise sauce so that we had ham and eggs on the fresh rolls with the lovely sauce.
2) custard AGAIN ( My hubby is in love with it)
3) Lemon Meringue
4) I prepared some crucial parts for my meatloaf tonight and will be making the mash...

I seriously cannot believe how much use the baby is getting!

Have not attempted the sorbet yet, maybe tonight.... ;)

Ohhhh I have already made:

1) Custard
2) chocolate icream
3) Apricot chicken risotto
4) the frothy milk for my latte... Now we have a Delonghi coffee machine and the milk to make in the Thermomix was sooooooo much easier and sooo nice and hot!

I can't wait to make things today! Sorbet may definitely be on the agenda with the 39 degree day ahead.. eeekkk!

Thanks everyone, its wonderful to see so many happy customers.
I did pay for it in full as the interest free finance was $75 to set up with $5.00 admin fees each month... so thought it was better to just pay.
Im located in Quinns Rocks so North of the river also.

Great idea re the fresh fruit, adding it to my list as I type!

Hi All,

My name is Trish and I am in Perth WA. I just ordered my Thermomix on Sunday. I did have a demonstration however I already knew I wanted one( have wanted one for about a year), so much so I think I knew more about it than the rep! LOL
We have a 4 month old baby and it is one of the key reasons my husband finally gave me the go ahead to order it. The health benefits as well as the time it saves.
I am trying to be patient as I wait for it but have already started looking for recipes so that when I do my Coles Online order this week, I have some ingredients that i can get crackin' with the Thermomix.
Cant wait to start some of the recipes in this forum also!

Trish
