Robyn the sciatic pain I get is caused by the periformis putting pressure on the sciatic nerve.  Now that I have managed to get my periformis to relax and settle down it is no longer pressing against the sciatic nerve. So all is good for now.

It is a pain though because when it flairs up it is irritated by sitting, which I do a lot of in my job. Hopefully with the right stretching, massage, acupuncture and strengthening I will get on top of it so I don't get flair ups anymore.

Den, get a cricket ball, and roll around on a hard floor helps too, for sciatica.

Stretching is brilliant, so is a good massage.
Hope it works out.

Didn't do a lot this morning as DH was finishing off the camper he made for the back of the Hilux and I wanted to be around.
This afternoon he put it on the Hilux and we put it up, and then down. Took us about 20 minutes for each. Not bad for a first time, but not as fast as the van to set up.

Getting ready to set the camp up.

Set up.

The beds up in the camper.

I am very proud of what he has done and think he is pretty clever. He has spent many hundreds of hours doing it.

He is brilliant Cookie, fabulous set up.  I thought you were roughing it on your outback trip, not so by the looks of it.  Well done DH.
