Today my DH and I went to an advance Thermie pasta making cooking class.  It was great fun, we made heaps of fresh pasta, filled pasta and even chocolate pasta, along with several different sauces.  We came home tired and full of food, with lots of left-overs along with ingredients for a couple of dishes we didn't have time to make.  We even brought home our own pasta machine.

It was a really lovely day and it was nice to spend time cooking with my DH.

If anyone in Adelaide gets a chance, I'd highly recommend they attend one of the hands-on Thermie cooking classes held by Cooks In Your Kitchen, as they are great fun and well worth the money (and no, I don't work for them...just a happy customer  :))

That's great that DH went with you Katie - you will be able to have pasta making days at home now too.

I haven't really done much at all today, cleaned out the fridge and did a little bit of cooking for today's meals, watched the footy and generally had a lazy day which I enjoyed.

Lazy day sound nice Judy.  I heard the Port Adelaide score, that result was a bit of a surprise  ???

DH really enjoyed it, we both had a really great day.  We were given goodie bags, boxes of flour and the pasta machine, so we have no excuse not to make some fresh pasta at home.  I do already have a pasta machine, but have only ever used it once.

I went for a 10k run this morning then went shopping for furniture with DD and DW. It was DD's birthday yesterday and we were buying her a display cabinet  for her unit. Then DD and I did some cooking together for her party tomorrow.

Listened to the Derby on the way home. Not happy with the result. Now I am watching the Olympics on my own. DW went in to work after we got home. She has a lot on her plate at the moment.

So sorry to hear that Amy. Hope he isn't in for too long. Although it will give your grandma a bit of a break.

Thanks DFM. I think they are talking about installing oxygen in their house so he might not have to go in so often.
My auntie has been coming down from Perth to see how grandpa is going and help nana out around the house. Auntie is a nurse so she can help nana take care of him at home :)

You are lucky to have a nurse in the family Amy. I hope that your grandpa gets better soon.
