Looking forward to your TM version - but will probably go ahead and use the recipe anyway

Thank JD - I will be very careful. Don't want to replace the blade before it is well and truly worked out

I've managed fill the TM bowl using the recipe in the EDC by replacing the mushrooms with chicken and leek - I forgot to keep to the same quantities and it was a bit crowded. Probably ended up adding about 300g more than the recipe asks for.
It was very full - not past the top mark but it was certainly bubbling up and I managed to get the butterfly to become unseated. Ended up removing the butterfly and just cooking on reverse sp1 as suggested in the EDC. All good though! Managed to feed 6 adults and 5 kids with it and it was good - but I am much better at measuring my extras or replacement ingredients now 139

Hmmm round - yes I do have a problem rolling a round base *grin*. So I decided I should have a pizza base that fits the pan. I only have a very wee oven so I go for the swiss roll tin - still tastes great

Thank you all for the lovely welcome.
I have to admit I haven't done a lot of Thai cooking since I got my TM. I have been enjoying the wonders of fresh bread (yes I can get bread here - but it's the mass produced stuff blech!), pastry and pasta. I plan to put some of the Thai recipes I have to the test. I'll keep you updated on that front - could be interesting Cheers 144

Made of awesome! I will actually be home on annual leave when you are in Melbourne. A friend of mine in Perth has been to one of your classes Tenina and she was really inspired. Now I just have to get in early enough to get a ticket *grin*

Hi All,
I took the plunge and invested in a TM when I was home for Christmas last year. I've been lurking on the forum since then. I've finally done something about joining! I am currently living and working in rural Thailand, so I can't always get the ingredients I want to try out all the great new recipes I have - but it hasn't stopped me yet *grin* I'm really looking forward to sharing ideas with everyone. |
