Hello all.
Really glad it was such a perfect day for the christening Uni - it will be a day you'll remember for ever
Hope everyone's ailments are improving with the weather. Make the most of it - my pessimism tells me it's not going to last
Brother-in-law turned up yesterday with his Thai wife and 2 young kids. He had invited himself at very short notice (I had previously tried to get him to commit to a date to come up here but he never replied) so we had to cancel things to fit him in. I asked him what type of food they ate and he said anything but not too spicy. So I cooked a bolognese sauce as children like spag.bog don't they? Turns out they have decided to stop eating beef and pork (bang goes the ham sandwiches for lunch) but he never thought to tell me. I cooked an emergency non-chilli chick-pea curry which, even though I say it myself, was very tasty. Bro-in-law ate very little of it and sort of turned his nose up. His lovely wife had 2 helpings though so she's still in my good books
Sorry for venting my spleen but I'm trying not to rant at OH about his brother as it's not fair on him.
