I hope everything goes to plan for you both Chookie and Ral.
This morning I did the food shopping and this afternoon DH dropped me at Costco while he continued on to check MIL’s house. Hopefully things may get sorted out soon and we can sell it.

Not a bad thing to have to do cookie, there’s always so much to see there and a leisurely stroll around the store is something I love to do which is why I Iike to go alone.

Finally managed to get a desperately needed haircut ... the only problem is it is so short my head is going to freeze for the next couple of weeks until it grows a bit longer again

For that very reason I’ve delayed having mine cut Marina. My hairdresser will certainly have something to say to me when I do make an appointment as it’s been 14 weeks since I had mine cut very short. It’s still manageable so I’ll keep it this length until it won’t do what I want. I’m really feeling the cold these days and I’m not keen to go down the short cut just yet.

I was exactly the same, Judy - 14 weeks since my last cut, I just couldn't stand it any longer - had I not been able to get an appointment when I did I think I would have been hacking at it myself!  My fringe was so long I couldn't see if it was hanging straight down over my forehead (fortunately I have a side parting so I was able to keep it out of my face).  Anyway, this cut will do me until Xmas now ... every cold head has a silver lining!

I hate it when my hair is even slightly long. I get it cut every 5 weeks. I had it done yesterday.

I can’t imagine your hair long at all cookie so it would need to be cut regularly.  Marina and I obviously can get away with a much longer period, mine is almost bob style right now so whilst it is behaving itself I’ll stick to it until the day I can’t do a thing with it. I don’t know that I’d hack away at mine Marina, goodness knows what it would end up looking like with my lack of hairdressing skills.

I don't have any hairdressing skills either, Judy - just plain desperation and madness!

I used to have long hair Judy. It was so easy……a ponytail every day. I like it short. When we lived in Broome there was no hairdresser up there and DH would cut my hair. Then when I got to a hairdresser they would always say ‘who HAS been cutting your hair?’

Oh yes they certainly notice if you’ve cut your own hair cookie.

We had our AGM for our Model A club. I am the new vehicle registrar (most of our old cars are on concessional licenses so this needs to be tracked and reported to the powers that be.) and DH is the new events co ordinator.

We took our car into the garage this morning to have it serviced.  Just waiting for them to ring and say it is finished.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Catching up on a bit of housework. My coffee machine came back today. It works, but the milk isn't very hot. I will check the settings.
