Thanks CP63. I've printed it off and will get up at 2am (ha ha) to see VHJ's postings and try it myself. ;)

;D ;D see you at 2am Cookie1.
I did manage to get it right once but I have left the instructions taped up in where I can see them as I know I will have to refer to them again.  ;)

Believe me girls, it doesn't take long to get it off pat.  I think 3 or 4 times for me but as I use it a lot, guess it stays in my memory bank easier.  If I didn't use it much, it would be like learning all over again every time I'm sure. My first thoughts were that it takes so much longer than the 'old way' but that is not true once you come to grips with it.  I can't wait to send something to either DD using it and see their reaction  :D :D

BTC, this is what Chelsea posted on the forum a while back and should help you to reduce the size of the photo and post it on the forum.

'think there is probably a very easy way, but this is what I do.

I open the folder where the photo is currently saved (can even be your camera folder).
I right click on the photo and a menu appears.
I click on the "open with" option.
I then click on the "paint" option and it will open in the paint program (don't worry if it is huge).
I then click on the "image" menu at the top.
I click on the stretch and skew option in the image menu.
In stretch and skew I change the stretch settings to 25% and 25% (and leave the other settings).
I then click on the file menu and click on the "save as" option.
I type a new name for my smaller sized photo.
I find the folder where I want to save my resized photo in the drop down menu (I use "my pictures" folder)
I click on save and then close the paint program.
The smaller sized photo will be saved in the folder I selected and will open in almost every application (not just paint).

It sounds complicated but that's just because I have put in all of the steps (I hope). Hope this helps.'

Once you've reduced the size it is just a matter of clicking on 'Additional Options' after you have posted something that you want to attach a photo to. When you click on browse it should take you to where your photos are and you just go from there.  It is very hard to describe what to do, I just do it now but it took lots of advice before I was able to. If tyou don't understand this, perhaps someone else will explain it better than me  :-)) :-))

OMG, that was quick - I hope you haven't been sitting by the computer waiting for a reply. I've not been in long and of course headed straight for the forum.  CP & Chelsea did all the hard yakka getting their message across, I still find it hard explaining to anyone else how to do it. Love the Thomas cake  ;)

Jan and Cookie if those across the other side of the world aren't watching the comedy show you can probably depend on someone form Qld.  VHJ we have had a similar conversation previously when I was practising the whole hyperlink addition for the forum - always when the remainder of OZ should have been in the land of nod (believe me many would have had a huge laugh at what was posted in the weirdest threads in my learning!!!!!!!)
