Cooking class, FF 2015
« on: February 10, 2015, 04:01:57 am »
Well I have really shown my computer skills again. I have managed to remove all information on this topic.
Good news is that I have kept a written list of the names of people who might be interested in the class, and I had just counted the preferences for the class. YUM CHA by a mile.
Our next problem is that we need 24 people to get it for the $83 price and we have only 13.  So I thought I would advertise it to any one else who would like to attend. Probably most convenient for Victorians. If anyone knows of Forum members who are not attending the FF but would like to attend let me know before next Monday, ( 17th) as this is the cut off time.  Even if some one is not a Forum Member and would like to come, this would also be ok. We might be able to convert them   ;D
I will set up a new thread and try not to wipe it out!

Possible attendees
Chookie
Marina
CP and DD
Jeninwa
Kimmyh
Katie
Kezza
Cookie
Gert
Judy
Bedlam
Wonder
Bruce
AB, DD
MF
Trudy and Wayne
Djinni, DH
Jamberie
Michele
Jilly, my GD

I have contacted the school and this is what I have found out, for the Yum Cha class.
Plenty of food to sample, ( looks like lunch there !!!)
Tina takes the class with Janine ( Alyce's Mum) assisting.  I have asked if Alyce could put in an appearance. Possible, she is ringing me back.
They have a shop at the school with a lot more available than is on their site.
Class starts at 10.30 am.

I had real trouble making my selectons for this class.  It's great that Yum Cha was the winner, I had tossed up having that as one of my two preferences, but went for something else instead - it will be a brilliant class and I will look forward to it.

Is Alyce hosting the class too or just Tina?
I must say I would love to come but can't commit just yet, Don't think I could do a whole Forum Fest but a cooking class would be great. I just need to have his bub and make plans after!

Jam, see top of page for answer to your question.
I personally have had experience with them running a class and I know that they are very particular about who they link up with.

Hi chookie, you can put my DD1 down - she is the one that came to the Gracetown retreat and now lives in Melbourne.

CP, that would be terrific. Nice to meet her again.

We are up to 17 possible attendees now,  so it is starting to look possible.
Does any one else have a relative or friend who might like to come. .?

Chookie, you can also put Wayne's name on the list if you don't mind a man attending.  He will have to get me there so might as well stay and learn something!!!!

Baby holds for me too please. I'd love to learn more about yum cha. I have tried a few dumpling dishes using the thermomix, they have been ok, but not brilliant. Thanks Chookie. Much appreciated.
