One thing about the hotter weather, the washing dried quickly.

All for that coming back from holiday - lots of washing.

I have trouble even thinking about -7 degrees. Do you drive when it is icy Denise?  Does Chance need to wear booties to keep his paws warm when you walk?

Good morning everyone, a hot spell ahead here.  My landline is still down and now I've lost my internet, thank goodness for 4G and mobile phones.

Like you Cookie, I can't begin to imagine the cold conditions you live with in Winter Denise.
41 here yesterday. DH came home from work early and we hopped in the pool at our village, so refreshing! I am not a water person and don't swim well, however before we moved here 9 months ago, I did buy bathers (1st time in prob 30 odd years) and told DH I would use the pool and I've kept my word, lol. It took a 41 degree day to do it!

We had a pool at our previous house Katj. It needed to be over 38 for me to go in.

I'm with you Katj, it has to be very hot for me to go in pools.

Well, now I am without internet (thank goodness for 4G) so whilst ringing Telstra to inform them of this fact, I asked how the phone repairs were going.  It's a massive outage and no phones before the 23rd January.  Not able to tell me when the internet will be back on. I saw heaps of workers, trucks and equipment nearby on the way out so they are definitely on the job but I feel for those poor devils working in high 30's and then 40's in coming days.

Morning all.
Judy, that is no good being without those services. Hope all is back soon.
CC, looking forward to the cold air you are sending over. Not as hot here, 33 today. But still hot enough for me. We have had to wait until 8 pmbefore we can do a bit of gardening.
Astarra, hope you are feeling better. You have had a pretty rough time.
